It seems that seasons 1-8 have been remastered and re-released on DVD and were purchased by a new studio, which is why AMAZON includes them free in Prime membership. Season 9 is still distributed by 20th Television Fox, and the quality, as you can see, is not as good. The show originally aired on ABC, but now CBS owns the rights, which makes sense because...guess what? The CW is just a shittier, fluffier version of CBS aimed at a younger, dumber audience. Yup. owned by CBS!
